Supercharger Pulley

2009-2015 CTS-V, 2012-2015 Camaro ZL1

2.45" 

Replace the original 2.95" steel supercharger pulley on your CTS-V or ZL1 with our precision-made 2.45" unit to make as much as 4 or 5 pounds of additional boost.  

Our LSA supercharger pulley is a three-piece design, utilizing a high-grade steel pulley hub and an interchangeable aluminum ring and front cover.  The center bore of the pulley hub is sized for the appropriate interference fit on the supercharger shaft and no pinning or drilling is necessary for installation.  The rear of the pulley hub incorporates the same raised flange as the original pulley to facilitate the proper installation and proper belt alignment.  The pulley ring and stock-appearing front cover are black-anodized for long lasting surface protection, and the steel pulley hub is nickel-plated as shown.  The pulley cover is machined to accept the original plastic pulley cap (not included) for a completely stock-appearing installation.  

Our pulley assembly is precision-machined on a state-of-the-art CNC lathe, which ensures zero runout and perfect balance.  The tooth pattern on our pulley is a perfectly-blueprinted version of the SAE standard to maximize belt engagement, making serrations and add-on coatings completely unnecessary.  This strategy minimizes belt slip while avoiding the belt noise, belt dust, and accelerated belt wear associated with those coatings.

Proper PCM calibration is required.   

This LSA supercharger pulley was revised 9/2024.  There is no compatibility with LSA pulley rings or LSA pulley hubs manufactured prior to this date.

 

Note 1:  A shorter supercharger belt is necessary when our 2.45" supercharger pulley is installed.  The Gates or NAPA 080653 in the premium Greenstripe line, is recommended (0.7" shorter than stock).  

Note 2:  For proper installation, the upper portion of the supercharger must be removed from the vehicle and the blower snout separated from the case.  A dedicated pulley tool can be used to remove the original pulley, but a press is required for the installation of the replacement pulley.  As part of this changeover, we highly recommend replacing the original supercharger coupler if your vehicle is still equipped with the problematic spring-loaded unit.  Our isolator is the same solid unit offered by GM in the upgraded LSA superchargers, available under PN LSA0001 (listed elsewhere in this section).   

Note 3:  Our pulley hub is a unique design that allows the installation of the stock-appearing front pulley cover.  However, if removal of this pulley hub ever becomes necessary for some reason, a 1/4-28 bolt tightened into the pulley cover bolt hole against the shaft will push the hub off the shaft.  Because we manufacture all of the components of this pulley, any parts can be purchased as service parts if needed.
