RSC C8 Carbon Fiber Side Skirts are unlike anything else on the market. With a sleek form fitting design that blends perfectly with the body lines, these skirts make your C8 wider and lower to the eye. These beautiful hand crafted pieces of carbon fiber easily attach to the factory rocker panels with no modification necessary due to the combined utilization of existing factory hardware and additional 3M double sided tape. Look closely and you will notice they are only side skirts available without the flap design commonly seen on all the 5VM carbon fiber kits for the C8 Corvette.

The Racing Sport Concepts C8 Side Skirts set your C8 apart from the rest. With a unique design that fits perfectly with the rest of the car, these Carbon Fiber Side Skirts are the mark of a serious build.
Engineered in house by RSC and exclusively manufactured by RSC these skirts are a nice departure from the 5VM kits seen everywhere.
These skirts are engineered to be a functional yet beautiful aerodynamic component; reducing drag and cleaning up airflow around the vehicle.
The RSC carbon side skirts were developed by reverse engineering the surfaces of the vehicle from our ultra precise (.005 in/ft) Laser Scanner. While many companies hire subcontractors to do their scanning we do it ourselves after having developed dozens of unique techniques over the years we realized we were scanning more cars than most of the people we were hiring. Combined with the advantage of unlimited time for new ideas and disassembly or reassembly, this advantage enables us to make things that fit the way the customer expects them to.
After 3D printing multiple prototypes we can refine the real world proportions and fitment with a level of accuracy never before available to our industry. This results in not only a better fitting part, but also produces a much better looking product as well
The Racing Sport Concepts Corvette C8 Side Skirts are sold as a pair and manufactured with premium 100% pre-impregnated carbon fiber and an immaculate 3K 2x2 twill pattern and gloss finish.
Are your parts made from 100% Carbon Fiber or is it just the top layer?
All RSC Carbon Fiber is 100% Pre-Imprenated Carbon Fiber. No other materials such as Fiberglass or CFRP are utilized in our products.
Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber is the strongest, lightest, highest quality Carbon Fiber available for these parts.

What is Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber & Why is it superior?
Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber is a type of Carbon Fiber fabric which is pre-impregnated with resin during the manufacturing process. This creates a perfect resin distribution throughout the material.
If you can imagine carbon fiber as a chain; the weakest link of the chain will always fail first. With wet-layup methods or "Resin Infusion" a piece of dry carbon fiber cloth is laid in a mold and the resin is either painted onto the cloth, or sucked into the material by using a vacuum. The issue with these inferior methods is the inconsistency in the resin distribution and tendency to have weak points which tend to fail.
With Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber, you get a much stronger part due to the lack of those weak links. In addition to the strength, you also achieve a much more beautiful weave pattern which we all love. Because the material is already impregnated with resin, it does not suffer from the distortion created by the resin infusion. Another benefit is weight, because the resin is evenly distributed by a complex manufacturing process. Only the perfect amount of Epoxy resin is used which results in less weight & more strength.
Finally, all of our parts are cured using state-of-the-art Autoclaves, enhancing the strength and shape of the part and finish quality.
