XB Evo Hybrid: A simple design refresh would have been easy, but that's not what this is all about. The all-new XB Evo Hybrid headlights are a showcase of everything Morimoto is made of. From concept to completion. Packed with features that demonstrate a true attention to detail including the latest in technology, compliance, quality, and styling, these headlights are designed for enthusiasts who are serious about all the above, even if it comes at a premium. Offered as a slightly watered-down recipe, the XB Evo Hybrid model offers less features but still excellent performance at a lower price point.
All New Optics: Thanks to an all-new generation of Morimoto Bi-LED projectors, the XB Evo Hybrid headlights will meet and exceed the highest standards for headlight performance that are set by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety... which is a tough mark even for most modern luxury automakers. Here, the C6 Evo Hybrid headlight utilizes dual Bi-LED projectors to deliver unmatched light output, with an incredibly bright and wide low beam, and a high beam that destroys darkness. All optics are powered by the latest OE-grade automotive LEDs from Nichia in Japan.
DOT Compliant: The Morimoto XB Evo Hybrid headlights are DOT compliant with all FVMSS108 regulations for on-road use in the USA, while still far surpassing the stock lights for performance. The vertical aim is fully adjustable within +/- 6 degrees for a perfect alignment on any C6, even when slammed or lifted to rally spec. The system was designed in California by Morimoto's lead optical engineer, Yoshi Ishida, to deliver maximum visibility, comfort, and safety, and that it does.
DRL & Signals: The turn signals and daytime running lights illuminate glass-like optics with special surface textures, which enable maximum intensity from all viewing angles. Easily out-shining low-tech optics found in most other aftermarket headlights, they also provide a one-off look with a unique design. With the turn signal activated, the same optics flash bright amber then fades off for a unique and elegant look. The bottom of the headlight bezel also offers unique "rays" of illumination.
OE Fit & Installation: The XB Evo and XB Evo Hybrid headlights are expertly crafted to match all OE specifications to ensure perfect fitment and hassle-free installation. They will bolt onto the original mounting points and line up to the surrounding sheet-metal without any massaging and then plug into the factory wire harness and then work without errors on the dash, flickering, flashing, or radio interference. Thoughtfully engineered for a modification-free install. No factory warranties void. No headaches.
Well-Built: This product is completely designed, engineered & tested in the USA by the Morimoto team to meet the high expectations of our customers. Nichia LEDs from Japan are used throughout. All wiring and connections are OE-grade. When it comes to UV protection, OE Toyota headlights are industry-best, which is why we've formulated a new hard coating that exceeds their testing standard for resistance against cracking, fading, and yellowing lenses from UV exposure.
